We created this website and mobile applications as a service to those that are tired of watching people continue to drive and park without being called out for their bad actions.
Our objective is to make people more aware of the bad driving and irresponsible behavior in our communities. It's meant to be fun, interesting, theraputic, and entertaining.

Why does this site exist?
Well like many people, we were tired of watching people continue to drive or park without being called out for their bad and irresponsible driving. From this frustration the Fail Driver website and mobile applications idea was born as a way for people to capture information about bad drivers and post their actions in hopes that a peer review helps them drive better in the future.
Isn't it dangerous to use this application while driving?
Yes, along with using a GPS navigation system, reading a map, or adjusting the radio while driving. The first time that someone starts the application we provide the warning "Using Fail Driver while driving is itself a Fail Driver event! Please be responsible: Pull over to document events, hand to a passenger, or do it at your destination". We even added an event of 'Using Fail Driver while Driving' to the application.
Is it legal to take and post pictures of someones license plate or car?
In the United States it is legal to take and post pictures of someones license plate or car as long as it is taken in public.
Is this information shared with law enforcement?
All of the information on Fail Driver is user submitted. There is no connection to law enforcement, DMVs, or other sources of driver information. Therefore, the information should not be taken as official or verified. If a report or comment is abusive, users can email us at support@faildriver.com. We will investigate, and reserve the right to remove information we deem to be inappropriate.
